A documented citizenship basis
The first task is to establish whether an international agreement or national legal provision applies to your circumstances.
Simplified procedure subject to eligibility
3–6 monthsIndicative program timeline
Assess whether your citizenship history, previous residence or family circumstances support a simplified Kyrgyz citizenship application. We help establish the appropriate basis and prepare the documents and personal steps in Bishkek.
The program estimate is 3–6 months for applicants with a qualifying basis. Preparation, any required prior residence and passport production are considered separately. An expedited passport service, where available, should not be confused with the citizenship decision timetable.
01 / Your plans
The first task is to establish whether an international agreement or national legal provision applies to your circumstances.
A clear chronology of citizenship and residence helps identify outstanding records before the family books a visit.
We distinguish the citizenship application and decision from the subsequent issue of national identity and passport documents.
02 / Eligibility
Birth, previous residence, a parent’s citizenship or other family circumstances may be relevant. Their legal significance depends on the applicable basis.
Previous USSR citizenship may matter, but eligibility cannot be reduced to the applicant’s year of birth. Citizenship history, territory of residence and registration must be assessed.
First establish whether citizenship has been retained and what the registers show. Confirmation, restoration and admission are different procedures.
03 / Important conditions
Review the passport, birth record, residence history and family documents before agreeing the application and visit schedule.
Submission and subsequent document arrangements in Bishkek depend on the basis and the applicant’s age. The number of visits and passport production options need separate planning.
Consider existing citizenships, notifications and military-registration questions before applying. A new passport does not itself guarantee a bank account or eligibility for another country’s immigration program.
04 / Family applications
Prepare separate questions and document lists for children and spouses. A child’s age, the other parent’s consent and personal attendance may be significant. A spouse requires an assessment of their own legal basis. Conditions described for young children must not automatically be applied to teenagers or adults.
Before finalising travel, confirm who must attend, which originals are needed, and whether a child’s application requires consent or representation. The principal applicant’s timeline does not automatically describe every relative’s procedure.
05 / Preparation
This is an overview of the document categories. Your checklist will reflect the actual basis, family composition, place of submission and the accepting authority’s requirements. Original records should be reviewed before final certification and translation.

06 / Timeline
The program estimate is 3–6 months for applicants with a qualifying basis. Preparation, any required prior residence and passport production are considered separately. An expedited passport service, where available, should not be confused with the citizenship decision timetable.
Prepare a chronology of citizenship, residence and family relationships, identifying the legal provision that may apply.
Request records and clarify the relevance of previous residence, registration and relatives before scheduling travel.
Confirm the required originals, personal attendance and division of responsibilities for the work in Bishkek.
Explain the identity and passport stages appropriate to each applicant, including children, and organise any required further visit.
A person born before a particular year is not automatically eligible. The file must show the facts required by the applicable agreement or legal provision.
07 / Immigration Partners

The agreed work may include a checklist, document review, coordination of archive requests or translations, submission arrangements and responses to further requests.
We explain the relevant registration, card or passport steps, your personal participation and the information needed to plan subsequent actions.
Tell us about your plans and family circumstances. We will define the information needed for the first assessment and the proposed scope of support.
